Ged began working in equity marketing at Merrill Lynch in New York after earning an accounting degree at Bucknell University. He has more than 40 years of experience in investment management, having worked with Bob at Drexel Burnham and Baldwin Brothers. In 1993, he and Bob formed Parsons Capital Management. He has served on the boards of the Providence Preservation Society, the Hope Club, Gordon School, Community Preparatory School and the United Way of Rhode Island. Ged is currently active in several clubs and organizations including the Fishers Island Club. Ged is a board member of the Fishers Island Utility Company and is a member of St. John’s Church investment committee. Ged serves on the investment committee for the Town of Jupiter Island in Florida.
