Ged began working in equity marketing at Merrill Lynch in New York after earning an accounting degree at Bucknell University. He has 32 years of experience in investment management, having worked with Bob at Drexel Burnham and Baldwin Brothers. In 1993, he and Bob formed Parsons Capital Management. He has served on the boards of the Providence Preservation Society, the Hope Club, the Gordon School, Community Preparatory School and the United Way of Rhode Island. Ged is currently active in several clubs and organizations including the Fishers Island Club, the Fishers Island Utility Company, Rhode Island School of Design, and is a board member for the Pomfret School.
